Silicosis
During the last few years, the number of detected cases of silicosis has grown worryingly, especially among workers in marble companies.
What is silicosis?
Silicosis is a chronic respiratory disease caused by continuous contact with dust containing small particles of a hard material called silica. When a person breathes in dust containing silica, it deposits in the lungs and causes inflammation and fibrosis of the lung tissues, affecting their elasticity, structure, and therefore their function.

To avoid breathing in silica dust in the workplace, Maser offers a range of vacuuming centers from 2 meters to 6 meters with a special system of Teflon-coated polyester filters that drastically reduces the need for maintenance and even allows working with water without any risk of deterioration.
