Dust extraction and filtration cabin with water

The aspiring cabins with water curtain are made entirely of certified high-quality stainless steel Outokumpu, with pressed folding and cut by laser machine.

Ensuring a longer duration over time, higher overall quality and therefore a lower devaluation of the machine over the years.

Operation:

The operation and use of the MODULBOX system involves the operator working in front of the module behind the water curtain and the linear suction slot.

The dust produced is sucked in by fans, through the slot located between the tank and the water curtain.

Initially, part of this dust is removed by the external water curtain, while the remaining is stopped by a water nebulization system, located inside the system.

Characteristics:

• The module also has high-quality alveolar PVC drop separator panels (without straw or similar material), which complies with CTI136 and ASTM E-84 regulations for self-extinguishing, suitable for separating water from the outlet air, reducing environmental impact, saving water and avoiding phenomena of bacterial proliferation.
• These panels can be easily removed from the front, without the operator having to climb onto the machine's roof and enter uncomfortably from the top for ordinary maintenance.
• The purified air exits from the top of the machine, allowing for recirculation in the environment.
• The dust thus removed is collected in the underlying inclined tank, of adequate capacity, turning into sludge and thus avoiding any possibility of airborne dispersion in the environment. Thanks to its particular inclination, the tank minimizes maintenance operations by the operator.
• The water present in the system is recirculated through a submersible pump with a stainless steel pump body and rotor.

It is possible to adjust the water flow of the external curtain by using shutters, while the flow of the internal water nebulization system, suitable for dust removal, remains constant.

In addition, access to the machine for cleaning and ordinary maintenance of parts subject to saturation or inevitable wear is possible.

Accessories

• An additional front box, fixed or mobile, of various dimensions, with a steel AISI 304 loom provided with plexiglass panels, allowing the operator to work even in environments with high turbulence, can be included.
• If the workshop ceiling is not higher than 6 m and the customer wishes to keep the purified air inside the workshop, the use of the anti-turbulence disperser PLENUM is recommended. It is a complete frame of fully removable drawer filters, properly positioned at the outlet of the filtered air for its homogeneous distribution without causing discomfort to the operator.

What is silicosis?

Silicosis is a chronic respiratory disease caused by continuous contact with dust containing small particles of a hard material called silica. When a person breathes in dust containing silica, it deposits in the lungs and causes inflammation and fibrosis of the lung tissues, affecting their elasticity, structure, and therefore their function.
