Dust Extraction Booth: The suction booths range from 2 to 6 meters in length and are designed for the operator to work in front of the module, which is also height adjustable.

Inside the MBS, four linear filtering filters are installed, ensuring effective filtration at 99.8%, fully complying with European and international standards. The use of cartridge filters, instead of traditional sleeves, guarantees a greater filter surface and therefore less maintenance.

Polyethylene cartridge filters (instead of traditional paper) ensure a longer life cycle, greater resistance, and less maintenance.

CLEANING CYCLE

The cleaning cycle of the cartridges is carried out by a compressed air blowing process, often called a cyclone, collected in a 19-liter tank per linear meter installed at the back of the suction cabin and controlled by specific solenoid valves. The compressed air backwashing system causes a complete fall of the working dust into the corresponding lower drawers, where the final dust compacting is executed.

The pressure and frequency of the air backwash can be regulated using a digital cyclic timer with an incorporated differential pressure gauge.

At this moment, the filtered air exits through the upper side of the suction cabin, propelled by the fans present in the same booth.

Additionally, the machine can be accessed for special filter maintenance through easily removable front and rear panels.

Upon request, a front drawer (fixed or mobile) of various dimensions, made in Plexiglas, steel, or acoustically absorbent panels, can be added, allowing the user to work even at a moderate distance, enhancing the suction in the work area.

If the workshop ceiling is too low, i.e., not more than 6 meters high, the use of PLENUM is advised, which refers to frameworks with filtering panels applied to the air output from the fans for better air dispersion in the work environment, without disturbing the operator with annoying turbulence.

What is silicosis?

Silicosis is a chronic respiratory disease caused by continuous exposure to dust containing small particles of a hard material called silica. When a person inhales dust containing silica, it deposits in the lungs and causes inflammation and fibrosis of the lung tissues, affecting their elasticity, structure, and therefore their function.
