How to use Nanotechnological Hydro-oleophobic Protector Extreme Protection IDEA GOLD?

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

1. Preparation of the surface: the surface must be dry and clean, with all stains, mold, and various encrustations completely removed. Otherwise, their subsequent removal would be difficult. We recommend using BELCARE NEUTRAL7 cleaner, which is specially designed for marble floors and facades, or BELCARE ALK13 for cleaning granite floors and facades.  For kitchen and bathroom countertops or furniture, we recommend using BELCARE SPECIAL STONE COUNTERTOP cleaner. To remove rust stains, you should use a specific cleaner for rust on natural stone, such as BELCARE RUST CLEANER, and for other types of stains, the best stain remover is BELCARE STAIN OUT.
2. It can be applied with a brush, cloth, roller, or wool, but application with a brush is recommended as it allows for better penetration of the protector. To apply IDEA GOLD with a brush, apply light pressure to ensure it penetrates well into cracks, corners, and cavities. Allow the product to air dry and the material will become a highly effective protector.
3. On non-absorbent surfaces, apply IDEA GOLD and after several minutes, remove any excess product by rubbing with a clean, dry microfiber cloth.
4. During application and drying, the substrate temperature should be between 10 and 30°C. If applying to a floor with underfloor heating, turn off the heating and allow the stone to cool completely.

USAGE TIPS:

• It is recommended to apply the product until the stone is completely saturated.
• On highly absorbent materials, it is recommended to apply the product at least twice, waiting two hours after the first application.
• Do not dilute the product with other solvents or water once it is ready for use.
• The material to be treated must be completely dry.
• Do not allow excess IDEA GOLD to dry on the surface. In case of over-application, remove it with a cotton or microfiber cloth.
• Protect from rain or moisture during the first hours of application.
• When applying to surfaces with traffic, pay attention to the pearl effect as, in the event of frost, it could make the surface slippery. It is therefore advisable to apply the product at least 60 days before the expected drop in temperatures below zero.
• Another suitable application method for small pieces is by immersion. It is possible to use a sponge impregnated with the product and plug the material.
• Once treated, the stone material must be left to dry for at least 24 hours to allow complete polymerization.
• When treating statues, vases, or outdoor decorative items, pay close attention to any gaps.
• Before use, carefully read the recommendations on the label and carry out a preliminary test.

APPLICATION SURFACES:

• Marble, granite, marble/cement, marble/resin, limestone.
• Restoration and enhancement work on stone or walls, indoors or outdoors.
• Ideal for protecting facades, brick or concrete walls, flat stone surfaces (opaque or glossy marble or granite).

TOOLS FOR USE:

• Brush, cloth, roller, or wool. A brush is the most recommended tool.

SAFETY MEASURES:

• In addition to good work practices, please consult the EC safety data sheets and comply with the regulations governing workplace safety.

PRODUCT PERFORMANCE:

• For the protection of polished or buffed marble and granite, in addition to 800 grit sandpaper, 1 liter of product can treat 15/25 m². In the case of unpolished marble and granite, limestone, sandstone, marble/cement, 1 liter will treat 10/15 m².

MAINTENANCE OF THE TREATED SURFACE:

• For maintenance of the material, we recommend using our BELCARE NEUTRAL7 detergent. In case of stone wear and as required, we recommend reapplying the product.

It is long-lasting on mineral, stone, terracotta, cement, and ceramic surfaces.
