PROCESS STEPS WHEN USING SEAM PHANTOM

First, we use a 2″ grinding wheel to create a recess of approximately ¼” under the top of the stone edge. This recess then creates enough space for the adhesive or filler of choice depending on the material and the roughness required to ensure a good bond.

PREPARATION

The second step consists of preparing the visible edge of the joint with a set of diamond abrasives in three steps (60, 150 and 300 grit), leaving it straight, level and free of any chips. The precision of the depth adjustment and the simplicity of changing the snail-type coupling make this process quick and easy.

UNION

Once both parts of the joint are prepared, the joint simply needs to be joined using a filler. Apart from the suction cup fastening and levelling system, we have used one of our advanced systems for worktop installation. It is a system to achieve a perfect result.
